Using AI in FIRST LEGO League
Use of AI is governed by both FIRST and CPS policies. FIRST views AI resources as tools available to students. Teams using AI to assist with code or content generation must provide proper credit and attribution.
CPS guidance is similar: “Students should produce work that is fundamentally their own. Students should clearly identify any AI-generated content that they have used.”
Proper credit can look like this: Essay created by Team XXXX and ChatGPT.
